JAG Head U18 Girls Manager and Ireland A Women’s Manager

Key responsibilities:


• Manage all logistical aspects of the program
• Manage budgets and keep detailed record of expenditure
• Form good relationships with the coaching staff and team members
• Attend all training sessions, matches and training camps.
• Plan, organise and communicate all activities that support the coaching staff and team prior to, throughout, and subsequent to the playing programme.


We are looking for people with:


• Experience of performance hockey (especially international)
• Ambition and commitment to the progression of Irish Hockey
• Dynamic personalities and people who can work with a team of others with a view to developing senior international athletes
• Coaching qualifications (Not for Managers) and Child Protection Course (or willing to go on one). In line with IHA policy all post holders must now hold a Child Protection Course.


U18 Program:


• You will need to be available to support the team and attend the
• Matches vs Belgium (Leinster 29 June-1 July) & Scotland (Ulster 2-5 July)
• Home Nations, Cork (17-19 July)
• Position is to the end of European Championships July 2011 in Kampong, Netherlands.


We would consider applicants who can’t make every one of these dates
Ireland A Program:


• Matches vs Scotland (Ulster 29-30 June)
• U21 Celtic Cup (Ulster 2-4 July)


All existing post holders are encouraged to reapply. Appointments will be to the end of the programs in July 2011.
