SENIOR WOMEN’S TEAM MANAGER
Following the resignation of Sally Ann Fanagan after many distinguished years of service the Irish Hockey Association are seeking to appoint a Senior Women’s Team Manager. This role is a voluntary role although a small honorarium is available. Full expenses are paid in terms of travel, phone and other outgoings.
Key responsibilities:

Manage all team logistical aspects of the senior women’s program

Manage budgets in association with the Head Coach and Finance Officer, keeping a detailed record of all expenditure

Plan, organise and communicate all activities that support the coaching staff and athletes

Form good relationships with the coaching staff, team members and key stake holders

Organise and attend training sessions, matches and training camps where required

Support the planning and evaluation process

Be responsible for all squad kit and equipment

Be available to support the team and attend several overseas preparation events and tournaments each year
We are looking for someone with:

Experience of performance hockey (ideally at international) or sport organisation to a high level
-
Ambition and commitment to the progression of Irish Hockey and especially to the women’s team achieving success at European and World level

Dynamic personality and someone who can work with a team of others with a view to developing senior international athletes

High levels of organisation and attention to detail and the time to commit fully at this level
-
A sense of humour!
Ideally role will commence in June with a transitional period and training through June with the existing Manager.
