Biography

Craig 'Ned' Fulton is a former South African hockey player and 2 time Olympian with South Africa. Fulton became Head Coach of the Green Machine in April 2014. However he was no stranger to Ireland having been Assistant National Coach to the Men’s Irish Team in 2006-2009. During his tenure Fulton has led the Green Machine to an all-time world ranking high of 12th in the world. He has also been at the helm when the squad won their first ever Eurohockey Championship bronze medal in August 2015. But most notably he has done what has never been done before and has masterminded the teams qualification for the Olympic Games for the first time in history. Ned won the Philips Sports Manager of the Month (August 2015) and was nominated for RTE Sports Manager of the Year 2015. In 2015 he won the prestigious FIH Coach of the Year.
