Nominations sought for Co-option to the Management Board of the IHA

At the recent EGM the Notice of Motion allowing the Board of Management to “be extended by a further six (6) members and that this extended Management Board remain in situ until the Annual General Meeting in May 2010.” – was unanimously passed.

We are now seeking YOUR help in nominating candidates to be co-opted onto the Board of Management.

A description of the roles of a Board Member are available here including that of the Chairperson, which will become vacant at the May AGM. Nominations can be received from Branches, Schools, Clubs, Universities, Colleges and Umpires Associations. For nomination forms please click here. If you know of anyone you feel would be an asset to the Management Board please encourage them to apply.

All nomination forms will be assessed by an independent, external assessor from Board Match Ireland who will then advise the Board. The forms are designed to assist the assessor so please do not be put off by their formality! If you are interested but have questions there is a list of people you can contact on the application form that will be happy to assist you. If you know someone who you think would be great but do not want to approach them personally please let us know.
