Electric Ireland Irish Senior Cup R1 & Men’s Irish Senior Cup

Round 2 of the Men's Irish senior Cup and Round 1 of Electric Ireland Senior Cup takes place this Saturday, November 3rd.
On the Irish Senior Cup side of things we have eight games down for decision. The pick of the lot is the match between current holders Cork Harlequins and 2011 winners Cookstown which has a start time of 3pm in Harlequins Park. Cork Harlequins clinically dispatched Antrim in Round 1 while this is Cookstown's first game in this year's competition. A close tussle is expected.
The other matches in this round are YMCA vs UCC in Alexandra College at 3pm. Kilkeel play host to Avoca at 2:45pm. Lisnagarvey welcome 2009 champions Pembroke Wanderers to Comber Road at 2.30pm. Up in Stormont NICS entertain Railway Union at 2.30pm. Fingal take on Banbridge in ALSAA sports complex at 2pm. Over in Belfield UCD will play host to a local derby as the students pit their wits against the might of Monkstown at 1pm. The final game of the weekend is in Shawsbridge with Instonians entertaining Three Rock Rovers at 1pm.

Over to the Electric Ireland Irish Senior Cup where Round 1 kicks off on Saturday with no less than eight games taking place.
Hermes entertains Randalstown in St Andrews College Dublin at 3.15pm. Up north Victorians play host to Ards at 3pm. Ards will be hoping lightning strikes twice as they hope to repeat their recent 5-1 Ulster league win over the same opposition. Loreto Hockey Club welcomes Queens to Rathfarnham at 3pm. Greenfields play Corinthians at 2.30pm in Dangan. Ulster Elks take on Glennane at 2.30pm. Armagh welcomes Lurgan to Ardmore at 2.30pm. Old Alex fresh from winning the top prize in the recent Mega Draw, a car no less, will be hoping their luck continues against Portadown at Alexandra College at 1pm. The final game sees Cork Harlequins entertain Railway Union at 1pm.
