Tonight is the big night - the Electric Ireland Irish Hockey Awards are finally here. Action kicks off at 7pm in the Alexander Hotel.

 15 Awards will be given out but we all know that everyone who makes hockey happen deserves recognition so this is a great night to come together as a hockey family and celebrate our sport!

 Tonight Darragh Maloney from RTE will MC while enduroman Gerry Duffy will be the guest speaker. We will have loads of hockey stars in the room tonight including over 30 of our own internationals.

We would like to thank all those, over 5,000, who got involved in nominating or voting and the 350 of you who will be there tonight to help us recognise those in our sport who deserve to be hailed as heroesand of course meet friends old and new.
