Paul Revington
Men's National Coach
Paul made the move from player to coach while completing his BA, majoring in psychology in Cape Town, in 1995. He successfully coached at school, club and provincial levels until 2000 when he began his international career as assistant coach of the South African U21, Junior Africa Cup Winners, Team. He then took the National U21’s to the Junior World Cup in Hobart in 2001 as Head Coach and joined the Senior National Team as Assistant Coach in the 2002 World Cup in Malaysia. In 2003 he was appointed SA’s National Men’s Hockey Coach. Under Paul, the team finished 3rd at the Champions Challenge Tournament in 2003, 10th at the Athens Olympics in 2004, won the Africa Cup in 2005, competed in the World Cup and Commonwealth Games in 2006 and improved SA’s world ranking from 14th to 10th. Paul coaches and lives by a simple formula of discipline + effort = enjoyment. He is passionate about his work, his team of players and support staff and is delighted to be a part of Irish Men’s Hockey.

Peter Jackson
Men's National Team Manager
Peter has been involved in management of the Irish Junior teams since 2003 and deputy manager of the Senior Men's Team since 2006. Peter was appointed as the full time Senior Manager in January 2009.
In professional life Peter gained great experience in management and business continuity and recovery which has equipped him well for this role. In his spare time Peter enjoys reading and fly fishing.
Steven Hiles
Men's National Strategic Manager
Steven has been a manager with Irish hockey for seven years, working with the U21 group at the Europeans where they qualified for the World Cup, and the World Cup itself which was hosted by Australia. He has been with the senior men's team since 2001 has a proven track record in all areas that the job requires having been through two European championships with the senior squad. As a Risk Manager with Anglo Irish Bank in Dublin he has significant management and financial experience.
Craig Fulton
Men's Assistant Coach
Craig joined the senior men's management squad in November 2005 and brings a wealth of experience at the very highest level of international hockey. “Ned” played 191 times for his native South Africa including two Olympics games (Athens 2004, Atlanta 1996), the 2002 World Cup and also two commonwealth games. Craig now lives in Ireland with his wife Natalie, who is also a former SA international, and their two children.

Steve Barry
Strength and Conditioning Coach
Steve has been working with the Leinster based hockey players for over a year and is now overseeing the strength and conditioning programs of all the international sides, men and ladies. Steve is a level 2 qualified hockey coach and was Leinster assistant coach to the U-18 boys for 2 years and subsequently the head coach for the next 3 years. In the summer of 2006 he also helped out at international level with the U-16 boys who came fourth in the European championships.
After finishing his degree in Exercise Science, Steve embarked on a 2 year masters in exercise physiology in Trinity College Dublin where he qualified at the end of 2003. In February 2004 he began his current job as a Personal Trainer in David Lloyd Riverview Health and Fitness Club in Dublin and is now one of the most qualified personal trainers in the country. Steve has also experience in elite sports conditioning with Bohemians football club and Derry City football club which he gained in the 2004 season.

Gene Muller
Women's Senior Coach & Director of Player Performance
Muller joins Irish hockey from Field Hockey Canada, where he was the Men's National Team Coach up until 2006. In his five years as national coach for the Canadian Men's Hockey team Gene brought the team to a world ranking of 14th and among many other achievements the team competed in two Pan-American finals losing the gold to Argentina on both occasions. Prior to this, Muller was Head Coach to the South African Women's National Team, where he successfully coached the team to the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. The role has on-pitch coaching responsibilities for the Senior and Development Women's National Teams and also overall responsibility for the IHA's Junior Age Group (JAG) squads, whose national coaches he will directly line manage.

Denis Pritchard
Women's Assistant Coach
Denis has been involved in Irish under age hockey for many years in a coaching capacity and more recently was Head coach of the Irish U 21 squad from 2002 to 2004 which competed at European U21 A division in Brussels. Denis is also head coach at Cork C of I who not only have produced many under age and senior internationals but also won the coveted Irish Senior cup in 1999.
Sally Ann Fanagan
Women's National Team Manager
Sally Ann took on the manager's role in January 2007, having previously managed her club Loreto's senior team for many seasons, and, more recently the Connacht provincial senior team for two interprovincial campagins. Sally Ann has plenty of playing experience she played with Loreto, Leinster and represented Ireland on the indoor team. Sally Ann has been involved in hockey in a variety of roles including past president and senior club coach for her club as well as being an active senior league umpire, she has also acted as Judge and TD at international level. As an officer with bank of Ireland, Sally Ann has plenty of experience with budgets and strong organisational skills.

Colin 'Bacchus' Stewart
Regional Coach / Specialist Coach
Colin is a product of the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) hockey program. His coaching experiences includes coaching the Zimbabwe team at the All African games and coaching at Hermes Club. Colin works predominantly with the forwards and travels with the national team when his schedule allows.
Karen Coughlan
National Physiotherapist
Karen graduated from University College Dublin in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (Honours). She then went onto achieve a Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne, Australia, where she also came top of the class. Throughout her training and since, Karen has had a wide range of experience in treating work, home and sports related injuries.
Since 2005 Karen has been the National Physiotherapist at the Irish Hockey Association, working with the womens senior and junior age-group squads. She is also the secretary of the Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercise Medicine group, a sub-group of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.www.cahirphysiotherapy.com

Rudi Wortmann
Video/Goalkeeping Coach
Rudi, a Dutch National, has been a club coach in Ireland since 1995 working with both Men’s and Ladies teams including Pembroke Men and Women, Hermes Ladies and Bray Men.
In his role as a hockey coach Rudi has tasted much success including winning the Leinster Cup; Irish Senior Cup, Leinster League and the All Ireland Club Championships to name but a few. He has also been involved at an Interprovincial level guiding Leinster to two titles. Rudi became involved in the Irish set up over ten years ago when Riet Kuper was Senior Women’s Coach and he continues to work closely with the current Coach Gene Muller. He brings a wealth of coaching experience to the Irish set up, especially when it comes to training goalkeepers.
