About the Women's ESB Irish Junior Cup

The Women's ESB Irish Junior Cup was instituted in 1909. It is an open draw tournament for 2nd XI teams only from

Ulster 2nd XI teams competing in Junior 1, 2, & 3
Leinster 2nd XI teams competing in Division 2 ,3 & 4
Munster 2nd XI teams competing in Division 2, 3 & 4
Connacht 2nd XI on application at time of entry
South East 2nd XI on application at time of entry

The final is traditionally played at the National Hockey Stadium, UCD.
