Meet the Team

Camp Directors:
Denis Pritchard – Cork
Denis, the current Senior Women’s Assistant, will direct our Cork Camp this year.

Denis has been involved in Irish under age hockey for many years in a coaching capacity and in recent years was head coach of the Irish U21 squad before moving up to the Senior Women’s Team. Denis is also head coach at Cork C of I who not only have produced many under age and senior internationals but also won the coveted ESB Irish Senior cup.

Lucas Piccioli – Dublin 1 & 2
Lucas Piccioli, a Venezuelan ex International (139 caps), will Direct both our Dublin Camps this year.

Lucas Piccioli, currently the IHA’s Eastern Development Officer, has accrued a wealth of experience in hockey in Spain, South Africa, Italy, USA, Venezuela and most recently here in Ireland. A former hockey international, Piccioli was responsible for single-handedly establishing hockey in a dozen schools in Venezuela and has strong experience in youth coaching and development. Lucas is a qualified level two coach

Scott McNeill - Lisburn
Qualified with a BA Hons. Sports Coaching degree Scott is currently supporting the Irish U18 girls squad. He has previously had success with Ulster U18 boys squad, Irish U15 Talent Group, Irish Universities and Northern Ireland Universities. Scott is an IHA Level 2 Coach, Level 2 fitness instructor, Level 1 strength and conditioning coach, IHA Level 1 Tutor and Sport Northern Ireland Tutor.

Lisa is a qualified coach with ample experience in running Summer Hockey Camps. Lisa has worked both previously on Irish Hockey Summer camps as well as running her own camps successfully.

A current International, Lisa has earned over 70 caps since she made her debut in 2006, since then she has been an established member of the Squad playing mostly up front attacking and creating goals.

Lisa had a very successful club season with UCD, winning the 2009 ESB ISC and also leading her team to qualify for the ESB Irish Hockey League for the first time ever.
